ANZA Travel was known to many in North America for being a specialist Travel Agency sending people to Australia/New Zealand and Africa and Asia. In 2004 ANZA Travel closed it doors due to bankruptcy after being in business for over 25 years.

Dianne Hall an Aussie, and the director of GoWalkabout Travel was employed in the Edmonton office as a specialist Travel Agent at the time ANZA Travel closed it's doors. It was shortly after this, Dianne figured with her experience of over 24 years promoting her end of the world that it was time to strike out on her own.

Avril Boucher Dianne did a great job of organizing our trip to New Zealand in November and December 2005. The itinerary was extremely well-organized. Her attention to detail in all facets of our trip made for a smooth time with all hotels aware of our arrival and being prepared for us. The self drive tour was absolutely great! It included lots of places to see with all feespaid and also allowed for us to see things not on the tour. Overall it was a fabulous experience especially with Dianne making sure everything went smoothly in New Zealand and on the Cook Islands. Thanks for all the planning Dianne!
