Days 1-2 Nairobi/Lake Nakuru
Spend a day exploring the colourful shops and vibrant streets of Kenya's capital then head past the acacia tree-strewn landscape to Lake Nakuru, stopping on the way to meet the children on a rural school visit.
Days 3-4 Lake Naivasha
Spend the morning in search of rhinos and giraffes before travelling on to birdwatchers paradise Lake Naivasha. As an option, go for a boat cruise on the lake, walk through nearby Hells Gate National Park or just spot the prolific birdlife from the lake shores.
Day 5 Loita Hills
Travel to the homelands of the Masai to camp with them among the Loita Hills. This is a great chance to learn about their traditional lifestyle.
Days 6-7 Masai Mara
Search the plains and explore the woodlands for a glimpse of the Masai Mara's wildlife. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs and more.
Day 8 Narok
Spend the night in Narok, a town with a large Masai population.
Day 9 Kisii
Travel to the traditional home of the Kisii people and their lush tea growing lands.
Day 10 Lake Victoria
Enter Tanzania and camp on the shores of Africa's largest lake. There are plenty of optional activities to make the most of the lake.
Day 11-12 Serengeti
Travel to the Serengeti National Park to view the abundant wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest and zebras.
Day 13 Ngorongoro Crater
Continue to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area and Olduvai Gorge, the 'cradle of mankind'. Spend the night on the crater's rim, one of the world's most spectacular campsites.
Day 14 Mto Wa Mbu
Descend into the crater and see the abundant wildlife that call the region home. With luck there will be black rhinos in the vicinity. Camp by the market village of Mto Wa Mbu.
Days 15-19 Zanzibar
Cross the open plains of Arusha then fly on to Zanzibar, an island with a rich history and a truly relaxed atmosphere. Travel into the interior of the island to visit a spice plantation. See and smell a wonderful variety of spices taste tropical fruits like jack fruit, bread fruit, pineapples, bananas and coconuts. Spend the rest of the time exploring Zanzibar town and its fascinating history or chill out on the island's many beaches.
