Days 1-2 Nairobi/Kisii
Soak up Nairobi's multicultural atmosphere then travel west through the Great Rift Valley to the homelands of the Kisii people. The Kisii survive off cash crops such as tea, and the plantations can be seen covering the highlands.
Day 3 Lake Victoria
From the home of the Kisii, travel across the lands of the Masai into Tanzania. Camp by the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest.
Days 4-5 Serengeti
Spend two days experiencing some of the best game viewing in the world. Millions of herbivores and thousands of predators live among the rolling grasslands and rocky outcrops of the Serengeti.
Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater
See more of the Serengeti's wilds before continuing to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. Explore the 'Cradle of Mankind', Olduvai Gorge, home to earliest man.
Day 7 Mto Wa Mbu
Descend into the crater to spot some lions and possibly black rhinos. Spend the evening camping by the market village of Mto Wa Mbu. The village name translates to 'river of mosquitos', a name that is thankfully inaccurate!
Days 8-13 Amani Children's Home
In Amani time will be spent doing anything from building, to playing football with the children or helping them with their schoolwork. The staff will decide where help is most needed. During the stay there will be a tour of the town and surrounding area, visiting local attractions such as the fabric and fruit market, curio shops and hiking to a local waterfall.
Day 14 Nairobi
Leaving the Children's Home behind, we return to Nairobi where our trip ends in the early evening.
