The initial call is an introduction to explain how my planning process works and to confirm whether we’re a good fit. It is not a detailed trip-planning session.
If you decide to move forward, a planning retainer is collected before any design work begins. You’ll then complete a detailed questionnaire so your itinerary can be designed properly from the outset.

I design tailor-made Australia and New Zealand itineraries exclusively for travellers from the USA and Canada. As a high-touch boutique travel specialist, my planning service operates on a retainer basis before itinerary design begins, allowing me to dedicate the time and attention every trip deserves.
I work with a limited number of clients each year and require a minimum of six months’ lead time before travel. This allows me to carefully curate each itinerary and secure the best possible experiences, rather than working with whatever availability happens to remain.
Countries such as New Zealand (particularly the South Island) and regions like Tasmania have limited accommodation, car hire, and touring availability, especially during peak travel periods. Early planning ensures access to experiences that genuinely suit your travel style, not last-minute compromises.
With over 35 years of experience in the industry, having been born and raised in the region, and continuing to spend significant time there, I offer insight and local knowledge that most North American travel agents simply don’t have access to.
