    That initial call is simply an introduction to discuss your travel goals and explain how our planning process works. It is not a detailed trip-planning session.

    When you decide to move forward, a retainer is collected before any design work begins. After that, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire so we can design a trip that is entirely your own.

    Trip planning takes time and care. We don’t work off the cuff or use cookie-cutter itineraries. Every journey is built from scratch to suit your style, pace, and interests.

We design tailor-made Australia and New Zealand itineraries exclusively for travellers from the USA and Canada. Our planning service operates on a retainer basis before itinerary design begins, allowing us to dedicate the time and attention every trip deserves.

As a boutique company, we only take on a limited number of clients each year and require an absolute minimum of six months’ lead time before travel. This allows us to carefully curate each itinerary and access the widest selection of premium experiences, not just what happens to be left.

Countries such as New Zealand (especially the South Island) and regions like Tasmania are particularly limited in availability for accommodation, car hire, and boutique touring. Early planning ensures access to the experiences that best fit your style rather than what’s left at the last minute.

  • Note: These budget ranges are based on two adults travelling together on the same itinerary and sharing one room. They cover the land portion only, which includes accommodation, day touring, airport transfers, and standard inclusions. Airfares are not included. Travel insurance, food, and personal expenses are separate. If you are based in the USA, your bank or credit-card provider will automatically convert CAD to USD at the daily exchange rate.

    All itineraries include my full trip-planning services, supplier coordination, 24/7 in-country emergency support, a fully customised itinerary (no cookie-cutter planning), over 35 years of specialised experience, and all the tips and tricks you only get from someone born and raised in the region.

    Note: The $35,000–$40,000 range is suited to two adults travelling together on the same itinerary for shorter trips of up to around 3 weeks. It does not fit luxury properties or private touring and applies to the land portion only, with no flights included.
