The World Masters Games is the biggest international multi-sport event in the world taking place in Auckland, New Zealand from April 21-30, 2017.
Since 1985, every four years 28 sports are performed by amateurs to semi-professional athletes aged 25 and up. Get yourself in shape to compete in rowing, gather a group of friends to form a softball team or start hitting up the shooting range and compete in archery. Whatever you’re into, from table tennis to triathlons, there’s something for you. Make a goal for yourself, meet athletes from around the world and go on a trip of a lifetime
Auckland
New Zealand’s capital of almost 1.5 million people has it all, from beaches to pubs, in addition to its desirable proximity to Australia. New Zealand has a population of just 4.5 million, with sheep far outnumbering humans. The dramatic landscape of this tiny island is breathtaking and best seen through our popular self-drive tours through the North and South Islands. Choose from a variety of hotel and apartment style accommodations for your family or group. While you’re on this side of the world, why not check out the secluded Cook Islands, located halfway between New Zealand and Hawaii to relax after participating in the Games. Alternatively, I can customize an extended stop over in Australia for you, where you can explore metropolitan cities such Melbourne and Sydney, take in the breathtaking Ayers Rock, or dive the unparalleled Great Barrier Reef. Rest assured that your holiday will be uniquely designed for you, and will impress the most
discerning travellers.
Being born and raised in the region, and having decades of experience tailoring holidays for North Americans to New Zealand and Australia, I will provide you with an unrivaled itinerary.
Whether you’re a competitive swimmer from Florida or a casual team of softball players from Toronto Canada, I will tailor a trip for you to not only compete in the World Masters Games, but to explore the rest of this part of the world. For a pre-event or post-event vacation, I will use my knowledge and proficiency to design a trip just for you and your group. From what you need to pack to where to conveniently buy a sim card, no detail will be forgotten. Airport transfers, insurance, and visas will be a breeze, so you can spend your time enjoying a drink with your partner or team.
I can look after individual accommodation or book apartments for your group in the best areas that are required to make your stay in the Auckland region easy.
